Jim Ether strolls in after a three week absence like nothing ever happened. Very cavalier. We discuss the recent lift on the gay marriage ban in California. He professes his preference for Joan Jett over Lita Ford, talks about all the dead bodies he's seen, and splits. Stacey joins the show and we talk about Brit splatter-com The Cottage, as well as Suspiria, Wizard of Gore, and Battle of the Network Stars 1976. And then Cherrybomb shows up and talks about going to Gay Bingo night in Seattle. Fabulous!

After a 13 year absence, international playboy Greg shows up to give Sleaze a hard time. We decide to encapsulate our entire 20 year relationship together in 15 minutes or less. Then Stacey drops in and we talk, like everybody else, about Iron Man and Harold and Kumar. And then, outta nowhere, Subculture Hero chimes in with some news from the North and some sleazy tunes. And I play Nikki Corvette doin' Alice Cooper. It's the real boss hoss!

On this jaunty episode, Sleaze and Stacey go to the Boston Independent Film Festival and see a bunch of spangly new indie flicks, including Stuart Gordon's superior Stuck, and Harmony Korine's nutty Mr. Lonely. The Q&Q for that one was demented. Jim walks out of the new Harold and Kumar in a huff, and we all think Cobra is awesome. Then Stacey leaves and we go Into the Weird and attempt to explain this picture.

So what happened was, I recorded a very sweet podcast with Hollywood Paul Gaita - twice - and both times it didn't work. Technical cock-ups. So, I just transcribed the whole thing and put it on my Myspace Blog. So that's where Episode 13 is, if you are looking for it. Unsure of what to do next, I just called Jim and he came by and we just conducted business as usual. So you get Kick Ass News and Into the Weird and movie reviews and a smattering of bitchin' tunes. Well, the big news this week was much-hyped monster-mash Cloverfield, which Jim and I both saw and quickly grew to despise. Jim saw Oscar-bait There Will Be Blood too, and I think he gives away the ending. We also cover doomsday machines, werewolf movies, Dinah Shore, porn music, Uri Geller, Jim's trip to the Mad Magazine offices, why I thought Glenn Danzig wanted to stab me, and all the awesome places where you could smoke in the 70's. Plus, a few sweet tunes, and get this - halfway through, Jim cries! Wild.
