Episode Six: Paul Gets Fired
Hosts: Sleaze and Paul Original
airdate: 10.17.07 Length: 65 minutes

Wow,
we were completely unprepared for this one. No music, no intros or outros,
nothin'. But listen, Paul got fired! Which is awesome. That's what getting
fired is about. First it sucks, and then it's awesome. Also, we talk about
other stuff. Movies, Lemmy doing satellite navigation, Turbonegro,
whatever. So it's cool.

Man, what a week!
Lessee, we went to the rock show and hung out with Ronnie fuckin'
Sweetheart! Nice. Then we went to see some movies. Awesome. Then I
got a call..."Sleazegrinder, go to Memphis at once!" So I did. Meanwhile,
Stacey went to see the Polyphonic Spree, and she really dug that.
Then I came home and we went to a midnight blaxploitation show. Sweet.

Episode Four: Patton Oswalt, 69 Eyes
Hosts: Sleaze and Stacey Original
airdate: 6.24.07 Length: 1 hour, 13 minutes
Direct Download
Wow, things are looking up! We get the
Blue Snowball, which is apparently the best mic to have for podcasting.
It looks cool, anyway. I also figure out how to master the podcast, so now
you can hear it without cranking the volume all the way up. Amazing.
Anyway, this one recounts all the fun Stacey and I had when we went to see
Patton Oswalt and Jeneane Garafalo (sp?) and, a couple days
later, 69 Eyes and Wednesday 13. We also talk about some of
the crazy-ass 70's junk-movies we got from Rare DVD Worldwide,
including the brain-melting Vacation in Hell with Priscilla
Barnes and Maureen McCormack. And then we talk about a
bunch of other bullshit, too. We even have a news segment! And some
(pilfered) theme music*! Things are
really lookin' up!

Episode Three: Jim Ether
Hosts: Sleaze, Jim Ether, Cody Original
airdate: 6.21.07 Length: 34 minutes
Direct Download
Jim Ether is my tattoo artist. We also
worked on my ill-fated film, 13 Ways to Deal Coke together. Jim is
making a new movie called Onward to Calgary. It features lots of
weird puppets and his big-breasted 21 year old girlfriend, Cody. Jim and
Cody spent two weeks on the road in Canada, working on the movie. You'd
figure, the road + puppets + hot chick +foreign country would equal plenty
of crazy anecdotes, right? Well, you have not met Jim Ether. Listen as Mr.
Ether fails on every level to promote his film. It's a complete trainwreck,
but it's a funny one.

Episode Two: The Doro Show
Hosts: Sleaze and Greg D Original
airdate: 6.16.07 Length: 44 minutes
Direct Download
Still have the $10 microphone, but what the
hell. Sleazegrinder scribe and Ichabod bass-player Greg D comes
by to talk about our trip to New Hampshire, where we saw German metal
goddess Doro Pesch perform at a rickety strip club called Mark's
Showplace. Well, Doro was in the rock club side, not the strip club side.
We hung out in both places. It was the fuckin' balls, Jack. We also
endured lots of terrible local bands, plus Joey Belladonna and more
dumb metal bullshit. This is clearly one of our "unintentionally hilarious" episodes. Here the whole sordid story!

Episode One: The Grindhouse Series
Hosts: Sleaze and Stacey Original
airdate: 6.7.07 Length: 1 hour, 10 minutes
Direct Download
It's our first episode.
We know as little about podcasting as you do. We have a $10
microphone and we have no idea how to insert any theme music. But we press
on regardless. In this shaky-but-gutsy episode, Stacey and Sleaze recount
the many hazy days and nights we spent at the
Brattle
Theater during their amazing Grindhouse series. Films under
discussion include Nightmare City, No Mercy Man, Rabid,
Children Shouldn't Play with Dead Things, The Crazies,
Vanishing Point, and Satan's Cheerleaders. We talked about a
bunch of other stuff too, but I forget what they were, now. The sound's
not that great or nothin', but it's a solid effort. Get to know us!
