Borderline metal/hard rock, but with major prog-rock influences. Well-produced, nicely designed packaged, it's lyrics and point is based more on a positive note rather than your typical fake aggro bit. I could say Tool and some space rock (Do I hear a little of Cave In's "Jupiter" in there as well?) as an influence, but that's too obvious. Some 60's elements come out later on in the CD, as well. They at least have memorable hooks, and parts that stick in your head, unlike most of the similar sounding stuff I've been running across. Well done, creative, and literate, it's recommended for fans of this style of music. It's a little bit 'middle of the road' for my tastes, but that's just me. - Greg Dellaria
