A “Sucky Pig Fuck” is a pseudo-manager music-biz type who hates rock n’ roll but still tries to recruit rock bands for the sole purpose of making money.

The scariest thing about Rhode Island is the residents. The worst strip club has got to be The Sportsman’s Inn in Providence. And Central Falls is the best place to get your ass killed…unless, of course, you live next to the warden of a local maximum security prison.

Great place to jam aside from the load-bearing metal pole in the middle of the stage, complete lack of any significant on-stage light, highly questionable PA, no price breaks on booze for the bands, and the single most heinous shit-stained bathroom this side of NYC. Not to slam the Safari Lounge or nothin’. But just so you don’t feel cheated, put your money on the fat chick.

Most triumphant Motormags gig? Biggest defeat?
Best gig: a good friend of ours (Holly Anderson) works for Santa Cruz in California and way hooked us up with a gig at the Hard Rock in Vegas opening for the Street Walkin’ Cheetahs and the one and only Supersuckers. Hard Rock had by all.
Worst gig: an old Providence rock-bastion that closed a while back called the
Living Room recently reopened across town. The owner made us play a Monday night
“showcase” gig to virtually no audience. He left after three songs and we could
literally count the number of people (including the band and employees) in the
club without taking our shoes off. So we rocked the bartender’s ass on a Monday
night and the dude never booked us again.Do Rhode Islanders make Great White jokes yet?
