Questions: SleazegrinderAnswers: Mike Fleming (Drums), Phil Hadley (sound man, raconteur) On Simple Made Easy, there's a track called "Sucky Pig Fuck". Please explain what a “Sucky Pig Fuck” is. A “Sucky Pig Fuck” is a pseudo-manager music-biz type who hates rock n’ roll but still tries to recruit rock bands for the sole purpose of making money. (Mike's probably talking about Phil, I dunno, but I don't wanna get involved, jack) What’s the scariest thing about Rhode Island? Also, what’s the worst strip club in town? Best place it get killed? The scariest thing about Rhode Island is the residents. The worst strip club has got to be The Sportsman’s Inn in Providence. And Central Falls is the best place to get your ass killed…unless, of course, you live next to the warden of a local maximum security prison. Who is Uncle Milky, and are you glad to know him? Uncle Milky is the guy who had sex with your mom. We’re glad to know him because in a certain sense he is us, we are him. Hottest TV news anchor in RI? What words does she say the sexiest? Who listens to what they say? Anyway, we did some on-line research and the results aren’t too promising. Here’re your choices: |

| At the head of the class is Kristine Johnson. FOX 12 | Not too shabby, Ms McGee...not too shabby. | Karin was hotter when her hair was long. Seriously. NBC 10 | Ms. Wood from NBC 10. Rumor has it her real name is Holly. Before you pass her over, Patrice’s favorite hobby is “playing her trombone”…(and we ain’t shittin’ you, either) | Ok, here’s the lone representative from ABC 6, Wendy Cicchetti. Semi-retarded looking. Long shot. |
|
So, readers…you decide. (There's a big ol' billboard of Kristine in downtown Providence, and lemme tell ya- she is a superfox.) How many people have been fired from the Motormags, and did they get parting gifts? No one’s been fired from the Motormags. They’re all quitters. And quitters don’t get parting gifts. Guns N’ Roses or the Cult? Cult N’ Roses Late night at the Safari Lounge. She-male or Fat Chick. What’s it gonna be?Motormags actually played the Safari Lounge. Once. Great place to jam aside from the load-bearing metal pole in the middle of the stage, complete lack of any significant on-stage light, highly questionable PA, no price breaks on booze for the bands, and the single most heinous shit-stained bathroom this side of NYC. Not to slam the Safari Lounge or nothin’. But just so you don’t feel cheated, put your money on the fat chick. Who’s the craziest Motormag? Please include proof. Johnny D. (former singer). Proof’s in the pudding. What’s the funniest thing ever said in the Motormags rehearsal space? “Get the fuck out of my house before I call the cops.” (as spoken to Johnny D., see previous question) What’s on the CD player in the Mags van? What van? Most triumphant Motormags gig? Biggest defeat? Best gig: a good friend of ours (Holly Anderson) works for Santa Cruz in California and way hooked us up with a gig at the Hard Rock in Vegas opening for the Street Walkin’ Cheetahs and the one and only Supersuckers. Hard Rock had by all. Worst gig: an old Providence rock-bastion that closed a while back called the
Living Room recently reopened across town. The owner made us play a Monday night
“showcase” gig to virtually no audience. He left after three songs and we could
literally count the number of people (including the band and employees) in the
club without taking our shoes off. So we rocked the bartender’s ass on a Monday
night and the dude never booked us again.Do Rhode Islanders make Great White jokes yet? No. (What, did you think I'd rifle off a few? Whaddya think I am, a fuckin' ghoul?) Which Motormag has the hottest girlfriend/wife, and which one has the scariest ex? Hottest: Mike’s ex's. Scariest: Mike’s ex. (Mike says this chick on the pool table isn't one of 'em, but hey, she's hot, right?) Finally, before there was rock, we only had … Roll. (Right! ) |

| Score: Damn, I forgot to keep score this time. You already knew they rocked, anyway. | ||||
