This one’s only four songs long, which
deflates whatever it is you’ve got pumped up, but packs enough of a punch
to assure you that these Saigon Hookers will, indeed, love you long time.
Led by Tommy Smokes, formerly of The Babyshakers and Sordid Conditions,
the Hookers are Canadian, but deliver a dirty, fuzzy Swedish garage sound
reminiscent of early Hellacopters, The Sewergrooves, and Gluecifer. It’s
short and sweet, a neat little panty-collecting package full of foreign
pleasure and busted decorum, which is exactly how I imagine it would be
like sharing the company of an actual Saigon hooker. Me so horny when it
comes to buzz saw rock n’ roll like this, my friends. ________________________________________________________
