self released five song CD from this NYC trio. The Boroughs take
the tried and true power pop/punk recipe and add nothing new to the mix,
yet somehow end up with something utterly winning. "Disappointed"
could be on the soundtrack to an adventuresome teen dramedy. (I can
see Busy Phillips opening her locker to the main riff). Undoubtedly some
will find The Boroughs too slick, others will enjoy the limited pleasures
to be found on the disc.
