Oh, man. How tempted am I to litter this review with euphemisms? I mean, you don’t hand a member of the Sleaze team an album by a band called Big Cock, with songs like “Hard to Swallow” and “You Suck the Love Out of Me,” without expecting an overload of nasty gonzo quips at every turn. It’s taking everything I’ve got not to go over the top on this one. Ah, you know what? Fuck it.

I figure the marketing genius who came up with the idea for the band name would appreciate the effort. So there you go. I don’t know what more I can tell you, man, except that Big Cock is made up of ex-King Kobra, Lynch Mob, Lizzy Borden, and Ratt members, which means they’re a struttin’, peckin’, hair swingin’, um…cock rock band. Opener “Bad Motherfucker” is the best of the bunch, a balls-deep biker metal track whose rubber n’ death stench lingers throughout the rest of the album even though the other songs don’t quite match its machismo. Anyway, when it comes to rock n’ roll, it’s always the year of the cock. But you probably already knew that.
