of swankily dressed Swedes who, despite swiping the name of Alice Cooper’s
old backing band, sound more like Skid Row than hard-hearted Vince. These
cats have only been together for a year, but aside from some shaky
harmonizing here and there, they sound like a whole flash metal army
advancing under clouds of confetti and blinding flashpots. Walls of
dive-bombing guitars, pneumatic, fuckable sleaze metal rhythms, and a
nasally Baz whine up front all add up to pure, mindless raunch n’ roll. “Ladies
First” is a 4 song demo, with three chugging headbangers up front
and a hook-heavy pop metal number, “Right on Time”,
finishing things off in fine handclapping, scream-along style. With looks
and hooks all present and accounted for, these Babies might grow up to be
big bad rock n’ roll motherfuckers in the next few years. Keep yr eyes on
