RHINO BUCKET
And Then It Got Ugly
Acetate

Holy smokes, legendary AC/DC apers Rhino Bucket are back in town after a dozen years of downtime, and they’ve even got Brian Forsythe from fuckin’ Kix on guitar! In case you blinked  in the early 90’s (lord knows I did, plenty of times), Rhino Bucket was an LA street-rock band who sounded pretty much exactly like Jailbreak era AC/DC. They released 3 albums on Warner Brothers from 1990-1994, but split after the label gave up on ‘em. At the time, there was a glut of similarly gruff rockers (Junkyard, Little Caesar, Two Bit Thief, etc.) so Rhino Bucket sorta got lost in the crowd. They did not miss a beat in the last twelve years, though, because “And Then It Got Ugly” is full of ball-breaking 70’s riff n’ roll that sounds…well, exactly like Jailbreak era AC/DC. A couple tracks stand out for their towering riffs and cock-out choruses (“Monkey Boy Highway”, storming opener “Welcome to Hell”), but this ain’t about singles, it’s about the long, hot road down the highway to hell. And Rhino Bucket are going down. All the way. __________________________________________________
