French garage rockers snarling and snapping in Frenglish about, uh, whatever a song called “Chicken Corner” or “Normal (Drug it Up)” is gonna be about. Skinfo on these pighead-wearing fellas is scarce, but I gotta say that they tear it up here, in a seriously unhinged way. The guitar sounds, literally, like it’s stabbing somebody. The singer yelps and howls like mebbe he’s the stab-ee. And ya remember the end of “Up in Smoke”, when Chong keeps falling over his drumkit? Well, that’s what the drums sound like. One of the songs (“Daronman”) is nothing but a choking, sputtering stonerpunk guitar and the singer screaming what sounds like “Rabbit!! Rabbit!!” over and over again, “Electric” is that very same song with a few Stones riffs tossed in, “Girly” sounds like Japsonic sensations Thee Elephant Machine Gun with an even more mangled accent (“I Ruv yoo, Girly-girl!”), and so on. Half o’ these tunes sound like the Mummies and Fu Manchu at the SAME TIME, man. Crazy Frenchman. Dig this one up, if yr up for some psychotic garage savagery.
