are a gang of young, hair-shaking Swedes who pour on the sleazy
speed rock with all the enthusiasm of a coke-fueled flash metal band from
1985, and all the gear-grinding pummel of gin-soaked punk n’ roll animals like
Zeke or Speedealer. That’s a well-worn combination of chemicals, so
don’t expect this whiplash-paced 5 song EP to offer up and surprises, but
it does rock with the proverbial wild-abandon. “Gunslinger” tosses a
little punk-gang yellin’ and over-the-top, GN'R style arena rock instrumental
flourishes into the mix, “Alright” is hook-heavy and glam enough to be a
particularly venomous Revolution Riot track, the oddly titled “Plowman VS.
The Wind” is a sort of pathos-driven NWOBHM tribute, and the other two
songs…well, they rock, too. But, you know, The Holy Lord of Rock?! I have
met the motherfucker, and he is not from Sweden. But he is fond of the
place, so check these speedfreaks out.
