Much like their more sinister musical and spiritual brothers in Monster Magnet, Nova Driver obviously enjoy talking to planets. The psychedelic cock rock planet seems to be their favorite.Void opens up with "Satellite Night", a dreamy little Planet Caravan cop that swells like a Gas Giant into swaggering high gloss riffarama, and you can say your last goodbyes to Earth from there, because it's all about rocket fuel and sci-fi sex stars after that. Do they have wah wah pedals and cowbells in outer space? Yes, they do, motherfucker. If Marc Bolan had a Kyuss fetish,(and who's to say he didn't, cosmically speaking) then he'd want to hang out with Nova Driver. They'd buy crushed velvet trousers together, and write poetry about stars and smoking guns, and then they'd jam all night on Thin Lizzy tunes. Void isn't quite that righteous, but it's in the same galaxy cluster.
