Many die willingly in the line of duty each day, and wouldn't have wanted it any other way. Porn Stars risk choking on some mega-sized black cock thrusting her throat, yet would still go down with glory each stroke. Coke heads put their life on the line, with every line they cross or snort time after time. Rock Stars, alone, are living proof that their cost of life is risked at all times. If some rampage of groupies were to trample and turn over the van, right under their nose, then there it all goes down the drain. Rock insurance should definitely cover the various perils rockers have when up against groupies, rock promoters, bartenders, and bouncers. And if it isn't the doorman letting girls slide with twenties, someone is always embezzling in on their money. God only knows how many times rockers will have run-ins with their instruments. Danger surround these men, like buzzards swarming mangled, roadside meat, yet they march full force through the mine fields like a pro all the way. Marshall Kilpatric is one soldier standing at attention ready to lay his nuclear rock waste in Today In The Day worldwide with the snap of a drum stick. With their new album, "Sadness Will Prevail," being over a hundred something minutes long, he proves he is not only a man of endurance, but longevity too. Marshall is currently preparing for upcoming headlining tour and risking his vertebrae for yet another long haul of crammed cargo vans and U.S. highway traffic for the one thing he does best at. Driving a van full of dreams across this universe, or die trying. Do you have an understanding with the band that allows you to delve in other projects? We haven't had much time to pursue other bands, but before we worked on "Sadness Will Prevail" Steve Austin and the bass player Chris had a side project with another drummer in a band called Typan, which is completely different than Today Is The Day. A more rowdy rock, like the Stooges or something. And then Steve was in another band called Cyclops that was like this anal cunt gore grind noise, where they would do a bunch short minute songs, and the set would only last a half an hour. We all try to remain fairly open about exploring other bands, but with Today Is The Day being the main focus and launching this new album off the ground takes tremendous amount of effort and concentration. It's a double album that took three years to make so tour is expected to be a long haul as well. I would down for rocking out in more bands. Such as? Well, as far as what is going on with the Desert Sessions, and Queens I would kill to do something like that, and work with those guys. If you ever find out they need a new drummer put in a word for me. Did you hear about Fred Drake's death?
No, not at all! How?
