Ah, something a little different. Tales from the underbelly of sleazy downtown big city French guttertrash. Very short tales too, especially with most songs being one repeated verse. So don't look for messages here, like you wanna. Well, yeah, good lines are good lines, as it were. So this lot rage, punk style against pretty much everything. Small town life (no country band this then), friends, enemies, being young, being old, cops (of course), being battered. Maybe it's a result of Air and Daft Punk. Choice line comes out of it tho in the brilliantly dumb punk lyric "I have some friends but they're all jerks, I had some girls but they were just cunts". So all in place, attitude OD'd punk thrash, buncha crisp tunes, a lot like the Black Halo's first album, opener Bad Situation almost like for like, which is no bad thing. Touches of Heartbreakers in there too, Let's Negative brazenly stealing Waldo's lead riff off One Track Mind but there's a far bigger hit of The Dead Boys in that it's kinda like being assaulted on the tube, or subway, or metro even and left but then someone comes along and buys you a whisky and some fags. Although you could also just do that yourself and save being mugged.
