Well, well, well, here's the latest of Scandinavia's seemingly inexhaustible supply of trashy, garage-y geezers. Maybe, then, comparisons to The Hives'll be natural, and even tho' they do have a similar penchant for choppy guitar parts played mostly clean, they have more in common with Danko Jones' heavy blues attack without the ultra-fuzz. A huge, gleefully violent sound, moreso as there's only 3 of em, for a hammering half-hour. Totally dry, like The Cult's "Electric", and sort of alike too in it's tight slinky raw blues boogie that also has hints of AC/DC and Led Zep. The singer's voice is disconcertingly like Robert Plant, tho mercifully without the "Oooh baayyybee bayyybee" bullshit, and more worryingly like the gimp from Reef. Came as something as a surprise when ,playing it as a promo copy, I'd seen it said that it was like Motley Crue and WASP. Excuse me, they should be sacked on the spot cos it's far, far away from that. For the pounding toms a plenty and warped Motown beats and a brilliant anthem called "I Am A Demon And I Love Rock'n'Roll", they should be heard. That and they're better, by far, than The Hives. But not as good as The Sewergrooves or The Strollers..  - Stu Gibson
